Manager <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Billy_Beane\">Billy Beane<\/a>&nbsp;put together one of the highest-performing teams, on a tiny budget \u2013 all by focussing on the one thing other teams did not look at \u2013 data on how the players acted and not just on how much they delivered.<\/p>\n<div class=\"simplePullQuote right\"><p>Simply put, the plan was to identify the \u201cEssence\u201d or Golden Motions of good players and figure out a plan to get more of the team to do that consistently.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>A team that could replicate these golden motions would win.<\/p>\n<p>The best part &#8211; the insight was based on actual game data (that everyone had).<\/p>\n<p>In the workplace, everyone has data on how each team member performs (activities) and how well they deliver (the outcome). How about using the data you already have to <strong>identify <\/strong>the Golden Motions and get the team to <strong>improve <\/strong>their Sales by 30% and NPS by 20%.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s how one of our customers did that.<\/p>\n<h2>The Problem<\/h2>\n<p>A 500+ Customer support team (supporting customers 24X7) faced a problem of low customer satisfaction (NPS).<\/p>\n<p>With monthly attrition of 5%, the team constantly struggled with training new recruits and ensuring sales increases and NPS remains high.<\/p>\n<p>Using worxogo\u2019s engine, they were able to identify that the Golden Behaviors in their teams were focussed on two very specific areas:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>First Time Right (FTR) \u2013 Solving the customer\u2019s problem in the first instance<\/li>\n<li>Reducing the Turn Around Time (TAT) for calls \u2013enabled by using the knowledge repository to solve queries quickly<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"simplePullQuote right\"><p>These two motions in turn helped improve Customer Satisfaction metrics and also resulted in higher sales.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>How driving Agent and Manager behavior helped<\/h2>\n<p>Using worxogo\u2019s AI coach, the team focussed on very specific areas.<\/p>\n<p>For agents, it was to build two simple habits:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Using the in-house KM tool &#8211; driving its adoption<\/li>\n<li>Driving daily adherence on FTR &#8211; focussing attention on this metric above the others<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Prioritizing these two behaviors over the others, resulted in 70% more agents using the KM tool and 45% more agents getting into the habit of daily adherence on FTR.<\/p>\n<p>For Managers the two habits were to focus their attention &amp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong><em>Applaud<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>consistent<\/em><\/strong> performers in their team for these metrics<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Coach<\/em><\/strong> individual agents who struggled with these two metrics<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Focussing on these two aspects helped managers reduce attrition by 25% and increase their productivity (by managing more agents) by 20%.<\/p>\n<p>Within 3 months of this focus, number of agents hitting the NPS benchmark improved by 10% and Sales improved by double digits. Additionally, the improvement sustained over the coming quarters.<\/p>\n<h2>How this was possible<\/h2>\n<p>Using the power of neuroeconomics and AI, the agents received over fifteen thousand nudges to build the right behaviors.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Managers were able to pay attention to the team members who needed their help the most, which helped them to improve productivity even further.<\/p>\n<p>Focussing on the \u2018motions\u2019 that deliver winning outcomes is key to building high performing teams.
