While <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/bryanrobinson\/2023\/08\/12\/remote-work-might-not-be-as-productive-as-once-thought-new-studies-show\/?sh=15a7ad3a3e7a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">recent research<\/a> suggests remote workers might be 10% less productive.<\/p><p>Remote or hybrid workers were 22% happier and more likely to stay in their jobs. Other benefits of working remotely included mental &amp; physical improvement in health, better work-life balance, improved job satisfaction, health improvement. No wonder employees have pushed back against corporate mandates to return to office. The downside, according to scientists, included &#8220;<span data-color=\"rgb(252, 252, 252)\">challenges with communicating remotely, barriers to mentoring, building culture and issues with self-motivation.&#8221;<\/span><\/p><p>However, working together in an office promoted better collaboration, increased sense of belonging &amp; purpose.<\/p><p>&#8220;<span data-color=\"rgb(252, 252, 252)\">A recent study from the <\/span><span data-color=\"rgb(252, 252, 252)\"><a class=\"color-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nber.org\/papers\/w31515\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">National Bureau of Economic Research<\/a><\/span><span data-color=\"rgb(252, 252, 252)\"> (NBER) found that remote working might not be as productive as once thought.
